In order to help you with any subscription concerns, HME News has created a list of frequently asked questions and answers.

When will my HME News print subscription begin?

U.S. and Canadian subscriptions are processed within 4-6 weeks after receipt of your order. Subscriptions from subscribers outside the U.S. and Canada are processed within 8-10 weeks.

When will my HME News Digital Edition and/or enewsletter subscriptions begin?

Digital Edition subscriptions are processed within 4-6 weeks. However, you can access the digital edition immediately through our website, (or direct link:

Your enewsletter subscriptions begin immediately with the next scheduled edition.

Why are some subscriptions free while others are not?

HME News is an audited publication and must comply with audit bureau regulations. Individuals that are eligible may receive a free print subscription. Individuals who do not meet that criteria can purchase a print subscription. Click here to order.

Do you accept credit cards, and is your site secure?

Our website is secure. You may order a print subscription or renew an existing subscription online via our secure server. We accept American Express, VISA and MasterCard. Please note the charge will appear on your statement under our parent company name: 'United Publications'.

Why do I have to keep filling out subscription forms?

Our files must be updated once a year according to audit bureau regulations. This keeps our address files current and also helps our editors target the content of the magazine to those who read it.

How do I update my subscription account, change my mailing address, and/or change my email address?

To make updates to your account, please contact subscriber services.

Please note that since we prepare mailing labels in advance, it might take 4-6 weeks to update your mailing address.

What is my subscriber account number?

Your subscriber account number is the numeric code located above your name on the magazine label.

When does my paid subscription expire?

Your subscription expiration date is printed on the mailing label of your magazine. It is located to the right of your name and is formatted by month and year, e.g. "Feb 12". In the upper left-hand corner directly above your name is your unique subscriber number. Always include this number in any correspondence to us to ensure prompt service. Your enewsletter subscriptions have no expiration date.

What should I do if I don't receive an issue?

Let us know about a missed issue by emailing subscriber services directly. We'll either mail that issue to you or extend your subscription by one issue.

Why did I receive another bill or renewal notice when I have already paid for my subscription?

Your payment and our notice might have crossed in the mail. If you receive another bill or renewal notice, please contact us by emailing subscriber services directly and we'll correct the problem.

I changed my address already, why is HME News still being sent to my old address?

We prepare the mailing labels for our magazines far in advance. When you contact us to change your address, your request is processed immediately. However, the change sometimes doesn't take effect for one to two issues because those labels have been pre-addressed.

How can I order back issues of HME News?

A limited number of issues are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please email subscriber services to find out if the issue you want to purchase is available. Single copy back issues are $7.00 sent inside the USA, $10.00 sent to Canada and $12.00 everywhere else. All orders must be pre-paid by check or credit card.

Will my name be added to other mailing lists?

Sometimes HME News finds other products, services or events that would be of interest to our readers. In such cases, we allow qualified, professional organizations to access our mailing list. If you would prefer not to receive these mailings, please send us a request to remove your name from our promotional file.

Will my email address be added to other mailing lists?

Sometimes HME News finds other products, services or events that would be of interest to our readers. In such cases, we will send an email on behalf of qualified, professional organizations. If you would prefer not to receive these emails, please send us a request to remove your email address from our third party emails.

What is your cancellation policy?

You may choose to cancel your print, digital edition and/or enewsletter subscriptions at any time. You will receive a full refund on all remaining paid issues.
