How do I qualify to receive a free ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR subscription?

To qualify to receive a free ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR subscription, you must be currently employed at a valid company whose primary business is Electrical or Low Voltage Contracting. Qualified individuals must also be currently employed as one of the job titles listed on our subscription card. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR is a yearly subscription. We offer you the opportunity to renew your subscription between July and December of each year. To avoid termination of your subscription it is imperative that you renew your subscription each year.


How long will it take to receive my first free print subscription?

You will begin to receive your ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR magazine between 4-8 weeks after submission of your fully completed online subscription form. We must have all the required information completed on your subscription form as well as your correct mailing address to begin your subscription.


Do you offer paid subscriptions?

We do not offer paid subscriptions to ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR magazine. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR magazine is the official publication of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). The magazine is designed to serve the entire electrical construction industry.


When should I renew my subscription?

You should renew your ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR subscription as soon as you receive the first notification that your subscription is due for renewal. This notification may come in the form of mail, email, fax or call. To avoid us contacting you by email, fax, or call, complete the first renewal notification you receive via mail. Renew your free subscription each year between July and December and your free subscription will not be cancelled. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR is a yearly subscription. Our files must be current to meet U.S postal regulations as well as auditing requirements. To avoid termination of your subscription it is imperative that you renew your subscription each year.


Where do I find my Subscriber ID? 

The Subscriber ID (up to 7 digits) can be found on your mailing label; see sample below.


I do not qualify to receive the magazine and/or I am retired from the industry. Can I still receive ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR?

We consider each non-qualified subscription on an individual basis. Even though you may not qualify or may be retired, you may still receive ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR. You must however send an email to ecmag@necanet.org describing your individual circumstance. We consider all individuals keen to receive our magazine as we aim to serve the electrical contracting industry.
